Kit de gastrostomie endoscopique
Un kit de gastrostomie PEG est un dispositif médical utilisé pour poser une sonde d’alimentation directement dans l’estomac à travers la paroi abdominale, à l’aide d’un endoscope.
Cette procédure est appelée gastrostomie percutanée endoscopique.
Utilisation principale :
- Fournir une nutrition entérale (alimentation par sonde) chez les patients qui ne peuvent pas s’alimenter par voie orale, mais dont le système digestif fonctionne encore.
